Andrew Logan Gallery & Store - The ultimate statement jewellery

You've probably heard of Andrew Logan if you've been reading Vogue/ The Observer/How to Spend It recently, or happen to be friendly with Zandra Rhodes.  If you haven't heard of him you'd probably recognise his work, whether its the collection of pegasus' that for a while stood in Heathrow, the bust of Zandra Rhodes in the National Portrait Gallery, The  Miss Alternative World project or most recently his "cosmic egg" for the Faberge Egg Hunt. He's more of an artist's artist than widely populist, but for those in the know, Andrew's work is instantly recognisable. The best part? His art transcends into jewellery - it is wearable, in the best sense of the world.

Artist, jeweller, and english eccentric are perhaps the only words worthy of describing him. His jewellery, is the red sole of the accessories world, just with more cultural points attached. Every piece is individual, hand crafted, and signed by the great man himself. I can't think of any other brand that produces goods with such a high level of individuality.

As statement-y as the pieces seem, they are in actually fact often well and truly subtle. My black bangle, thin, incredibly light, has just enough sparkle to attract interest but not enough to dominate an outfit. Next on my wish list? A gold bangle or a set of earrings. Statement, rings, buckles and the odd tiara are all perfect ways to add a new dimension to an otherwise ordinary outfit.

Luckily for you, if you live in London, Andrew's gallery is just a stones throw away from London Bridge Station at Melior Place and definitely worth a look in, as there's always a chance you will catch a glimpse of him. The store houses every accessory you could want: bracelets, brooches, belt, hats, clutches etc.

Outside of London, his online site, is also worth a visit. Owning an Andrew Logan puts you in good company, just ask Dolce and Gabana, Chris Martin or Bono, and puts you in good stead with Cavalli, Ungaro or Zandra for whom he has designed jewellery.
